Kentucky Wildcats vs. Wisconsin Badgers: Final Four betting matchup

No. 1 Kentucky and No. 1 Wisconsin staved off challenges from lower seeds to advance into this Final Four rematch.

The No. 1 Kentucky Wildcats are 5-1 SU and 1-3-2 ATS in their last six trips to the Final Four. The Wildcats will try to continue their SU success in the Final Four with a win over Wisconsin this Saturday night at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Kentucky is a 5-point favorite on Saturday at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. This marks the first time in nine games that the Wildcats are not favored by double digits and is the lowest spread that Kentucky has been asked to cover this season.

The Wildcats were pushed to the brink in Saturday's game against Notre Dame, trailing for much of the game and narrowly escaping with a 68-66 victory. The Fighting Irish had no answer for Karl-Anthony Towns down low and Kentucky was able to keep its march towards perfection alive and improve to 38-0 SU.

Some will argue that this game showed that Kentucky is vulnerable while others will say it was just the type of game the Wildcats needed. Kentucky is just 1-3 ATS so far in March Madness play.

Any talk that the Wisconsin Badgers are a one-man team has been clearly dispelled by junior forward Sam Dekker this March. Entering Wisconsin's game against Arizona averaging 20 points per game in the NCAA Tournament, Dekker dropped 27 on the Wildcats to help lead the Badgers to an 85-78 win over Arizona as a 1.5-point underdog.

In Frank Kaminsky and Sam Dekker, Wisconsin has the size and firepower to pose a serious threat to Kentucky's perfect season. The Badgers are 0-2 SU and ATS in two trips to the Final Four since 2000.

The OVER is 4-1 in Wisconsin's last five games while the UNDER is 4-1 in Kentucky's last five games. Saturday night's total is set at 131 points at the sportsbooks for the Wildcats vs. Badgers betting matchup.

When these two teams met in the Final Four last year, Kentucky narrowly came out on top in a 74-73 thriller. With both of these stacked No. 1 seeds coming into this game playing great basketball, this one could be another great game that goes right down to the wire.
