Atlantic 10 Tournament 2015: Bracket, schedule and scores

The Atlantic-10 Tournament tips off on Wednesday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. The tournament spans five days and will go all the way up to Selection Sunday. With no clear-cut favorite, there should be plenty of drama and bubble intrigue in the final hours leading up to the committee's decision.

VCU had been cruising at the top for most of the year, but a career-ending injury to star defender Briante Weber threatens to derail their season. The Rams have gone just 5-5 since Weber's injury and fell from the No. 1 seed all the way to No. 5, missing out on a double bye. They're still a lock for the NCAA Tournament, but Shaka Smart will have to pull out some extra magic if he wants to get past the first weekend.

Davidson soared to the top seed after starting February squarely in the bubble picture. They're not quite safe yet, but a couple solid wins this week should do the trick. Dayton is close to a lock. Rhode Island and Richmond are still on the outside looking in, but both teams have the quality to make deep runs and give the committee something to think about. Even also-rans like UMass, St. Bonaventure, George Washington and La Salle have proven dangerous over the season.

With so many storylines and Big Dance implications, this promises to be the most fascinating conference tournament.

The format

All 14 teams are eligible this year. The top four seeds get a double bye into the quarterfinals, with the next six teams getting a single bye. The bottom four teams play each other in the first round. After the first two rounds, the tournament follows a standard eight-team format.

The first round is televised on on A-10 Network and SNY, with NBCSN carrying the next four rounds. CBS Sports Network picks up the semifinal round, while the title game is airing nationally on CBS.
