Good morning. Let's basketball.

CONGRATULATIONS, DUKE. The Blue Devils won the championship with three guys expected to be one-and-dones, including presumptive No. 1 pick Jahlil Okafor and likely top-5 pick Justise Winslow. Coach K has figured out how to beat John Calipari at his own game. Now he needs to go hit that recruiting trail. Such is the life.

GO NETS: I've come around and am now on-board with the Brooklyn Nets' turnaround. It's inevitable! The Nets beat Portland to go two games clear of the No. 9 seeds. Meanwhile, the Blazers are losing their shot at first-round home court.

ANOTHER FORM OF TANKING: I wrote about what lottery reform could have done to this year's East playoff race had it passed.

HALL OF FAME: Dikembe Mutombo, Lisa Leslie, Dick Bavetta, Jo Jo White, SPENCER HAYWOOD (finally) and one-time Nets coach John Calipari lead the 2015 class.

WELL THEN: Dirk Nowitzki has jokes about Shaun Livingston being impressed with his girth and whatnot.

WILL JEANIE BUSS FIRE HER BROTHER? Nice piece on the state of the Lakers from Thomas Golianopoulos.

THE SIM BHULLAR STORY YOU DON'T KNOW: Brilliant piece on Sim Bhullar's actual status in India as a Non-Resident Indian.

DID YOU KNOW? Democratic and Republican members of the U.S. House of Representatives used to have a standing 4 p.m. pick-up game in a small court in the House's basement and sometimes legit NBA players like Magic Johnson joined in. (Thanks to Kirk for sharing.)

ONE FOOT IN JERSEY: Andrew Keh on the Nets' continued existence in the consciousness of New Jersey.

DON'T LOOK NOW: The Rockets and Spurs are surging at the right time. In particular, Kawhi Leonard has been unstoppable.

IMPORTANT: A definitive ranking of Dwight Howard's suits.

OUCH: Byron Scott basically said the Lakers are going to try to replace Nick Young and that he needs to work on some things to remain in the NBA.

THE WEST IS SO DEEP: Danny Chau makes the case for the Clippers as the league's second best team.

Happy Tuesday. See you next time.
