Stephen Curry breaks his own single-season 3-point record

Curry has made 273 three-pointers this season. And counting!

Stephen Curry can't be stopped. The Warriors guard was already the MVP front-runner and the leader of the best team in the NBA. On Thursday night, he added another title to his impressive resume.

With five three-pointers in the first half against the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday night, Curry broke his own record for the most threes ever hit in a single season. This shot was the record-breaker, and three-pointer No. 273 for Curry on the season:

Curry set the record back in the 2012-13 season when he broke Ray Allen's mark of 269 threes in one season. Curry and teammate Klay Thompson now own six of the top 30 three-point shooting seasons of all-time.

Curry entered the night shooting 43.8 percent from deep on the season. He has shot over 40 percent from three-point range every season of his career. This year, he's averaging a career-high in three-point attempts per game with 8.1.
